These files on the Wapping Strike were released by the Metropolitan Police under the Freedom of Information Act to the journalist Solomon Hughes in 2005 but were refused to us when we re-requested them. They were not secret in 2005 but they are in 2015.

Remember, these are only the files that the authorities chose to disclose and may only represent a small fraction of the total files held. Also, what police officers report to their superiors is not necessarily true.
